Yeah Sparky, I'm alive and kickin.  Things WILL calm down eventually, but right now my world is in a bit of turmoil and it's keeping me from relaxin' behind the mic during the day.

SOON THOUGH, SOON!

Sorry to hear about the turmoil.  Remember to take some time for yourself and allow your head to clear, even if it is only temporary.

Hang in there Riggs, I hope all well get better in the near future. If there's any knee caps you need busted I'm sure me and MO can handle it.

A tour at one of Milwaukee's great breweries.

Somechick is right, Riggs. You know I live a walk away from Miller. Some warm Saturday stop on by and we will do the tour. If its warm enough the polka trio guys will be out in the beer garden. ITS A GREAT TIME!

They may not be able to get me to leave the "sampling" portion of the tour

My friends and I would head over there when we just turned 21. It was great- good fresh beer at exactly the right temprature, and a fistfull of free sample tickets. They really clamped down on that now tho. What we would do is hop across the street and join the in progress tours right before they headed to The Fredrick Miller Inn for the tasting, get some more beer there, get a couple more sample tickets after that, and head back to the beer garden. Plus often times people would ask if you wanted their tickets because they were leaving. Man o man, those were the only times I really really liked Miller products and polka!

The upgrades have been great. You know what song I would really like to see added though? I will Survive. Thanks for the great station.

I would love to see some more Gwen Stefani.  I see where you have one of her songs.  I really like her!

Thanks for all your hard work, and I love the new playlist information feature.

Since I made a positive post(for the most part) about American Idol on the American Idol thread, does that score me enough brownie points to request that a couple of more songs be added to the playlist, if you have them?

Todd Rundgren "Love is the Answer"

Paul Davis "Cool Night"

Thanks!

Thanks Jeremy!

I do believe you have converted me into an AI believer.  I have really enjoyed the show so far this season and am impressed with the talent of the group that made it to Hollywood this time.  The weak link to me is the girl that performed at the end last night(Aloha?).  I don't get what the judges think is so impressive about her.

Yeah, me either.  I thought she was the worst of the them.

I also really dislike that Mikalah girl who's so over-exuberant.

She's got a scary look to her too.  She always looks like she just woke up after a two day bender.

I'm glad to hear your finding some enjoyment in it.  I do think they did a better job this year of bringing some real talent to hollywood.  You still get those clunkers on occassion, who make you feel like you're just watching bad karaoke.  But not as often this year as in years past.

Jeremy--if I am the only one requesting it, please do not bother, but if you had Frank Sinatra's LA is My Lady, I would be appreciative.  It is a song he did with Quincy Jones and the CD is entitled LA Is My Lady. released in 1984.

Riggs- Yesterday and today I heard Andrew Gold's Thank You for Being A Friend, which in my world equates to a version of the Golden Girls theme.

First, thanks for that.  I am still working on getting the tv theme version of the song, which is all of a minute long. I have a friend who does have it on cd, and I'm waiting for him to get me the name of the cd.  When I get it, I'll forward it on.  Thanks!

Cool, if you get it let me know.

I know I was hoping the singer did a full version, but it appears she never did.  So Andrew Gold was the next best thing.  It's been requested 5 times in the three days since I loaded it, so someone out there in radio land must really like it!

The tracks 'Clocks' and 'God put a smile upon your face' are good ones of the album JD mentioned.

I agree- Clocks is just pehnomenal. I was lucky enough to catch them in Milwaukee. They booked at a medium sized venue, then Clocks came out and was a smash hit- they could have easily sold out the stadium after that, but were commited to the smaller place. People were offering $200 a pop outside the show for tix. They were THAT hot.
