I see you guys like to post a thread for each day of the week with your activities. Well, it's Sunday morning techincally now... so I'll bite!

Just finished off a project I was working on. I set some goals for myself for this year - buy a new car, which I did... and I'm working on Goal #2 which is to find a new job. I have a part time gig lined up w/ a TV station here in town, but I need something fulltime. I applied for this video editing/graphic design gig with a local medical goods supplier. They finally got back to me and they're judging people based on their design skills which is awesome, so I spent the past few days working on my submission and sent it off tonight. Keep your fingers crossed.

Goal 3 was to find a new girlfriend. Managed to get a date friday night and she managed to spend 30 minutes on the phone with her ex... confused.gif I got a dirty look when I got a call from a friend. HA! Ladies..

Good luck on your goals. Yeah, I guess it is Sunday now (depressing). I think the job thing is the most important...and then everything else should fall into place.

I'm getting ready to go do my Sunday morning thing. We have an upbeat bunch of songs we're playing today which makes it even more fun. Two of them are new for me, but I think I've practiced them enough to be ready.

The guy I've been meeting, and doing a study with on Sunday mornings said he wouldn't be ready today. That means I'll have some down time to sit, be alone, goof around a little, listen to some music etc.

If you want to join us for church, we start at 10:45 central time and you can listen in here.

Top o' the mornin' to you all.

Just another day here in NC, nothing really happening. I'm finishing up some computer stuff. Yesterday I threw one of my oldest computers in the trash. There's something about doing that which feels really good. Today I'm going to try and salvage another one to possibly sell on Craigs list, but it's been fighting me when I try to restore it so it's fate may be the trash heap as well. We'll see.

Hey D$, it's great to have goals and those sound like some doozies. Good luck on all three!

Alright, I'm off to do battle with the Gateway!

Good day all. I got an email this morning that put me in a good mood. I think it'll be a good day. We need to clean house today, and do laundry. I'll probably hit the pool again too. But first, I'm waiting for Brian to get up. If he doesn't get up in the next 30 minutes, I'll probably start cleaning without him. Which means I'll probably wake him up in the process, but I don't see anything wrong with that...

Back home from vacation. I got a bunch of crafting time in but a lot of that time was by myself. My husband worked the whole time- painting living room, tearing out old carpet for new, power washing the house.. This made his parents stay by him so Mom didn't craft at all.cry
I also read a book while gone. Disappointed with the ending though.
Sunday blahs setting in. Got a bunch of stuff to put away and of course laundry. I feel way behind around here but I will be WAY busy for at least the first 3 days back at work cry So it will take me awhile to get caught up and back to my usual forum time.

Good luck brother. If I recall, your car experience was so-so. Gas budget, etc.
I just came back from a cabin camp weekend with the wife and father in law. Pretty good time. Stopped at a car show this afternoon. Wow, a couple hundred cars at least.smile
