It would be nice if it were that American that has gone missing in Iran, trying to make contact via the FFR Forum!

We'd land on the national news and our listenership would EXPLODE!

One of the coolest ISP's we've ever had checking out the station was centcom in Iraq. How cool to think someone from Central Command Unit in Iraq was checking out our station, maybe even tuning in for a bit.

That was almost three years ago though.

Well now, since Web mentioned that, every time I first come into the forum, my firewall goes nutso blocking port scans, especially when I also have the station playing at the same time.  Coincidence maybe, but it seems to happen every time I log in here for the first time of the day.

I always thought that our visitors from the foreign countries were indeed Americans, maybe at military installations surfing because they were on duty somewhere and they were checking some things back towards home that they never knew were out there.

90% of Irans people dont agree with the politics. They are severely oppressed, not allowed to view American news sites or BBC..even myspace is forbidden. They often find sites like this to get the news their country wont allow them to see. I gave the web address to someone about 6 months ago and said if there was anything major going on in the world we talk about it....I wonder if it was him?
