Age is just a number. I may be 34, but my inner child is 8. I think age differences are a progressive thing. People make a big deal of it in high school if a freshman is dating a senior. Then it is a big deal if one is in high school and the other is in college. Once you get to college, there is less of a deal made about age. And once you are out of college (or are past traditional college age) no one seems to pay attention. I think you go with compatibility. We all know, that is a strong piece to sustaining a relationship. Another is the ability to converse with one another. Just don't force it, give it time. Especially since you are both just out of relationships. It is okay to spend sometime boyfriendless. Take the time to regroup, catch up on housework, chores, with friends, family or even just that book you have been meaning to read.

Good luck however things play out.

Actually I did it like one of those MAD fold ups. It said - Do you like it when Sparky takes you shopping and spends a ton of money on you? Check yes or no. Then after she checked yes I just folded it in the appropriate places and it said Do you like Sparky?

I am 34 and my husband is 50. We have been married for 7 years. He is in better shape than I am! It does scare me when I think of spending those years alone later, but it is soooooo worth it now! smile.gif

And you never know.  The younger one could get hit by a truck & die 30 years before the older one.  (Not you, CS - but you know what I'm saying.)  It's not worth saying "what if..?"  because it may not even happen that way.

Wow, I am totally going for it now. Not exactly how Sparky wants me to do it, however next Sunday I am hoping he's there!! I have to approach him though, I am not sure he'll do it!!

And Sparky's a south paw, who would have thunk?? I love them lefties!!!! Something about them just makes me melt. aww.gif
