But that burger doesn't even look good.

Maybe since I don't do lettuce, tomato or mayo that is a problem. But those fried onion thingies don't look like there belong there either.

Does the meat really taste any different from the other burgers they sell?

It does. It's so much less fatty. No little fat balls throughout it. A very good beef.

I can do lettuce. I will have salad. I just won't put it on a burger or a sandwhich.

I'm a fan of the lettuce free salad.

I call mine a chunk salad, nothing but tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms, onions, etc.  Put some italian dressing over it.  MMmmm Mmmm

Yeah. When I go to the salad bar at Golden Corral I always put a little lettuce on the plate with my other stuff just so people don't think I"m weird.

I prefer someone actually KNOW me before realizing I'm weird.

I have a signed affidavit along with the restraining order.....he is weird...if he was rich he would be eccentric...but he's blue collar...so you make the call.

I don't care what anybody thinks of me anymore. Another valuable lesson learned. I have to live for my children, teach them correct principles and hope for the best.

I was thinking the same thing from the first time I saw the commercial, but I can't remember.  Maybe a bit part on a TV show.  I wonder if he played Joey's friend on JOEY.

the guy with the beard only reminds me of the "Sheldon" role on The Big Bang Theory because of how he talks.

Good grief.  Talking about Sheldon, the geeks at the astology forum are in a tizzy because of inaccuracies in the Burger King commercial.  LIKE ANY CARES IF IT'S ACCURATE!  It's a joke you dufuses!

This is from the original poster:

DefaultBad astronomy by Burger King

Just saw a Burger King commercial, where the person says he discovered a "moon orbiting Regulus 239 in the Crab Nebula" that may support life. And in the background is what looks like a 6 inch reflector.

Then another person refers to the discovery of a star.

OK, let's see if I can get it all down:
  • Regulus doesn't have 239 planets.
  • The Crab Nebula has a white dwarf at its center, not Regulus
  • We have no way to determine if planets around other stars support life
  • Stars are not the same things as moons
  • A 6 inch telescope cannot discover planets or moons around other stars
  • We have no way currently to find moons around planets outside our solar system
Did I miss anything?

----------------------------

Then the rest pile on here

I guess the guys at CBS got geek down pretty good smile.gif
