Annoying Yellow guys

Does anyone else have these annoying yellow faces screaming "HELLO" every once in a while. If you do, how do you shut them up? They drive me crazy. Please tell me you hear them too so I know that I am not crazy.

Yes, CP, you are okay. The talking smileys are not only in your head. Although, I do not know how to shut them up.

CP, after you get, install, and run Firefox, you will need to go to "Tools" -> "Add-Ons" -> "Get Add-Ons".

Then you can search for "Adblock Plus" and install the add-on (In some places they are called "extensions")

Look around at other add-ons while you are there, or go back and look later as you may find more you like. I currently have 18 add-ons that I'm using.

While I would like to try Firefox, I am unable to add anything to my computer. I can't even get the lastest version of flash installed. So sometimes I can't see the pictures or video links that you guys post. Makes me sad. cry

Yeah, but we try to take care of one another. You know that they are good for it and will help.

FireFox Ad Block has saved my sanity.

The forum offers an ad-free version, but their insanely expensive I think. I remember checking into it a year ago. It's based on how many page views your forum gets. At the time we were averaging over 100,000 a month I think and it would have cost over $100 to go ad-free.

I guess if nothing else Sparklit thinks we're a valuable forum because we're so active.
