Happy Sunday.

I'm getting ready to go to practice this morning.

This will be fun if it works. I think I can make a Skype call and have it run through our sound system at the church to where we can hear the call over the main speakers and talk over the mics. Just before practice time, I'm going to call our singer that moved away a few weeks ago so everyone can say hi to her (I prearranged it with her to expect the call) . It will either be really neat, or a technical failure. I'm hoping for option 1.

We went to the Washington County Fair yesterday. It was fun. there was a llama fashion show (pics later) and Styx was there. So was Boston. We stayed for Styx and heard some Boston later on as we fled.

Today it will be German Fest. I will see if Heino is there. If not in person, certainly in spirit. This is where you can buy pig heads to eat for $5. I doubt I'll eat one.

Then there will be radio shows tonight. I set a bit up already, I think it will be a good night of music, should anyone need any music.smile.gif

How I miss the FESTS.

Are they still as good? Aside from summerfest, I think FestaItaliana was my favorite.

they still are cp. missed festa cuz we were up in door county last weekend when it was held. somebody was saying last night that not all the food offerings are being offered this year, but I think they're wrong. we'll see. I like going sundays during the day, just really layed back and usually not too crowded.

german fest was good, I don't think they scaled back any of the food offerings, but some of the info and demonstration tents that were there last year, weren't this year. it was blistering hot too.
there was a wind, but it wasn't coming in off of the lake, so really it was a hot wind. beautiful beer stines for sale. lots of yodeling and leiderhosen. smile.gif
