If I knew more about all the different wines, I'd participate with you guys in this one; but since I don't know one wine from another, I'd better not.  cry

I'm still looking for that cherry wine that Woo was talking about a while back.  hmm

But that was the point Ghost, to discover more about wine. As long as you can buy a bottle of wine from a local winery and would like to receive one in return, you can participate.

Names have already been drawn, but unless anyone has already sent their wine or bought a specific bottle for someone, we can still add you and redraw.

If I were a wine drinker I'd get in.

We have a ton of wineries around here.  Several are only a few minutes away.

I'm kinda in the same boat Ghost. Plus I'm not dependable right now with all my crisis- lol

Thanks Mz, but really I should pass on this.  I don't know a good wine from a bad one and I'd hate to buy a bottle that was truly horrible and send it to one of you guys.

Then you use it to cook w/ or serve to your guests you don't like if it's that horrible. I'll sure find a way to make use of it..... get in on it, I don't care.

Besides the local winery near my house sells wine that I have never tried so who knows what it's going to be like?

I don't know up around you guys, but around here the local places will usually have wine tasting.

Good point Fuzzy. Even though I've already likely tasted every wine that Oliver has a million times, I'm going to go in for a tasting again to choose.

Or maybe I should try a different winery this time.

Heck, I think I'll just go for tastings at each one then pick the best.

I think I need a designated driver.

There is only like 3 wineries in a 100 mile radius here... and I haven't tasted any of them.


But I have licked a few.... LOL

My hubby can't drive.  Therein is where the problem lies.

But you're more than welcome to come over.  Southern Indiana has been called the Midwest Napa Valley, we've got a ton of wineries.  Just win the lottery and we'll get a limo to drive us around.  Duh.

Great there are quite a few wineries around here that are close. It'll keep us occupied. Now, all I have to do is win the lottery so I can fly you in.

I was plannin to ship mine on the 15th. I imagine the delivery arrival dates might fluxuate a bit, I bet its ballpark at best....
