supposedly one hit a few months back that we were able to feel in milwaukee, but it was at 3 am. Something woke me up then, wasn't sure if it was that or not tho. Mz or Ray, you guys felt it pretty good tho??

Earthquake no... Hurricane yes, Tornado yes... oddly enough not while I was in the midwest though. I thought it was just wicked rain and wind as I was driving through the Allegheny Mountains.

I've been in about 5 earthquakes. I say 'about' because I lived in California every summer for about 10 years. I only felt 4 of those that I can remember. The other one was when I was living in Boise. Gotta big shake that moved our piano. It was centered on the other side of the state where it killed a couple of kids on their way to school.

CP is just fine. There was one that woke be up about 3am. it was a 3 point something in Barstow. I just opened my eyes, looked at the mirrored closet doors shake and thought, not even a five pointer and went back to sleep.

Did feel the bigger one. I was standing at the pool talking to the pool guy. The water sloshed slightly. Not much damage from what I hear. Only the newbies panic. After 12 years of consistent living in socal, they don't even bother me anymore. I have my earthquake prepardness crap and my guns.

Earthquakes: any day Tornadoes: OK, but don't like them Hurricanes: NOT

At least with earthquakes you go about your life and after a few seconds its over and you deal with it. what i hate is the consistent warning notices, listening to the pelting rain and living through hours of being pelted.

Like most guys I guess. Just give me a few seconds and then I will roll over and go to sleep.

After our earthquake here, I'd have to agree with you CP. I'll take an earthquake over a tornado or flooding any day. I haven't been in a hurricane yet, so I'll judge that later. At this rate, we'll have a hurricane in Indiana next year.
