A buddy of mine is headed to Brookings SD in a few weeks...ever been? Any tips on what to do? Where to eat etc....

It's funny, I've lived here all my life, been to all the surrounding cities close to Brookings but have never been there. I have a co-worker that goes there quite a bit SG, I'll ask him.

Since you two are in SD, can you tell me if sales tax is charged on everything there? Because we are getting some new jobs in SD, I have to do some research. I thought I would ask if you guys know of anything not taxed. With these new jobs, it looks as if there will only be three or four states remaining where we do not have any business.

Okay, nevermind. The statutes were too clear. Have to love tax code, clear as mud. Ended up making a phone call to verify my answer. Yep, taxable.
