RE: Day-Nes-Wed

Howdy Hey.

Sorry to hear so many people on the forum are in a funk.  hmm.gif  I think I'm just breaking out of one.  I better not spend to much time here today or I'm liable to be pulled back into one smile.gif

Pambo, I'll keep you in my thoughts tomorrow.  I've never had a surgery (knock on wood), not looking forward to my first one, whenver it may be.

I am not mad at any relatives right now. I don't get to see them often, so I don't have time to be mad at them. But since there is a family gathering on Saturday, maybe after that I can join in. By then everyone will have some new reason to be mad or ticked off at them.

ok my husband is teetering on the list. I have been having a bad day as I keep thinking about the situation and I feel that I need to allow myself to breakdown so that I can get my crap back together and deal. However I do not wish to breakdown in front of everybody. When the directors were having their precious meeting I had to walk by them. I'm sure I did not look good as I got a call from my sister later asking if I was ok. My husband was just up here and asked if I had lost my grumpy look yet furious I'm sorry that I haven't dealt with this. he couldn't come to bed on time because he couldn't settle down. He had to write everything up that happened in our notebook to release his anger and go to bed. I say he is teetering because when I answered him he did not dismiss me or roll his eyes. But I'm not sure if that was for work show or not. hmm

I say they all need to get in a line so we can walk up & down, smacking each and every one!

You have to be careful. Some of them might like it.

But it still may make us feel better. I say we try it and see what happens. We can keep a hose handy in case they get out of control.

I'm in. This day could only be improved with a Stooge-styled line slapping of irritating people, family or non-relations. smile.gif

last night we had these awesome stuffed chicken breasts. plenty of left overs for today too. I swear just one could easily fill 2 people. They're stuffed with ham, mozzerella and asparagus. each was almost the size of a stuffed pork tenderloin. the ham especially was out of this world good. I grilled these up over the coals.

They're from this butcher that I used to go to years ago that was down the block from me. they moved in the early 90s, not too far away, but far enough that they were sorta out of the way. Certainly couldn't walk there anymore.

But back then, I'd get these chicken breasts frozen. they were still really good. but the ones last night were fresh, and indeed were even better than I recall back in the late 80s early 90s. we'll definately go back now.

My mom has a fun memory about me being a little kid in the old butcher shop. I was hanging around the gumball machine, and one of the tops was not locked on, so I filled my pockets and face with gum. just sat down on the floor and feasted. even the butcher guy was laughing.

I think the butcher had a crush on mom; he used to "float" checks for her back in the seventieslsmile.gif

I thought the same thing about my mom, not with the butcher though. I have an Unusual first name. (The same as the last name of a country singer) I once asked my mom if my first name is the name of my real father. Didn't go over well.
(She has all his Albums though)
