are you trying to post from a website?

I dont know how from my hard drive I always save them to my photobucket account but from websites you use the web address of the picture...just click the button with the tree on it and it will pop up a window...just copy and paste the web address into the box and voila...you have a picture.

at the bottom of the thread you open it will have a box to check to add a picture. Once you click it it will open options to browse your computer to add a picture to the thread.
