sick!! Literally I caught a cold. I had a sore throat on Friday, spent the entire weekend on the couch, today the sore throat is gone, but I have a head cold now. I can't stop sneezing, coughing and blowing my nose. I may leave work early.
I'm not sure what today holds yet. Brian stepped in a gopher hole and twisted his knee at work last week, and now they won't let him back into work without a doctor's notice. So he's at the VA clinic right now (if they don't give him permission to go back to work, they have to submit a request for disability, but he walked there so I don't see why they wouldn't give him permission). I think he's going to try to walk to work from there, but that's an awful long way, it'll be hot out, and he'll probably have to work outside once he gets there. I told him to call me and I could give him a ride, I hope he does.
If customers allow me to be away from the computer, I won't be here much this morning. I'm working on some shelves for our basement storage problems at home.
It will be too hot to work in the shop this afternoon so I better do it now while I can.
this morning we had some quick moving thunderstorms roll through here. I can't remember if it started at 5 am or lasted till 6 am, or if it was 6 am to 7 am. Enough to wake me, but not enough to really keep me awake.

Sing it with me (Mickey Mouse tune) M-O-N-D-A-Y-S-U-C-K-S! With that said, hi all! Acutally, for a Monday it's not so bad. My immediate supervisor is in a training class all week and my manager is on vacation. That makes for a peaceful start to the week. It's gonna be over 100 degrees for most of the week, so looks like I get a reprieve on lawn mowing for a while too.

She is supposed to be back to work today, but I haven't seen her log in yet... sent her a text message asking where she is. Waiting on the reply. I talked to her a bit over the weekend and she said she was planning on staying in the bed because she was in some pain, so there was no real point in me going over to hang out. Owen was being her cabana boy... he's such a good kid to help out like that.
The Monday Sucks song is one of my favorites.

The good news is I see the Russians got that new Rick Springield CD in today! So I plan on buying it and we'll have a New Music Weekend this weekend. Been awhile since we had one.
Other than that, I gotta get to the post office, the food store, and the hardware store. Time to shower up and get moving.
well this is supposed to be a fun week here at work. tomorrow is cream puff day at 2 pm where we all get a free big cream puff from the state fair, and friday is the company brewers game outting. they usually set up 2 huge tents in the lot and everybody parties in there and has hamburgers and brats and stuff.

Just got to work. We had a case of insomnia and decided to go into work late after getting some zzz's. We had a good time up north. He worked some but not a lot. I wasn't very creative so I didn't do much crafting. His mom gave me a bunch of supplies though.
On a sad note we lost another fish. Not the fish we were worried about. We lost Mumma Molly. The orange fish that I posted a pic of awhile back. That makes 2 fish in one week. We don't understand. We checked the water levels and they are fine in the big tank. The babies tank is the one that is screwed up but they aren't dying! Last night we decided to move 4 of the bigger babies into the bigger tank. We were down to 19 in the 55 gallon and sometimes that is just not enough to keep them from chasing relentlessly. My husband is now worried about the catfish. He doesn't seem to be too active.Carry on..

I'm sorry Woo. We had that problem before, we lost a whole tank and never really figured out why. We thought that maybe one fish was fighting with the others.
Thanks. It's heart breaking. We were gonna move Mumma Molly with her babies now that they grew up some but now we can't.
Oh and I just get to work and I have to vacate the building because the Co2 detector goes off. I should of just stayed home. It just seems that it was a false reading because the battery went low.

Just got a reply from Pambo. Richard is taking her to a follow up Dr. visit. Said she feels a bit queezy today. Maybe will be in to work later, but sounds like probably not. She's going to let me know later what the Dr. has to say.

well it seems that my husband and I will be monitoring our sleeplessness situation. We both couldn't sleep last night and now his stomach is upset. Mine is fine but we are both feeling hot. My eyes have started to burn, my nose is getting stuffy and my throat feels tight. He wants to call his parents later and see if they are ok. Or maybe I somehow picked up Darlene's cold and already passed it on to him.
