Hello, it's friday!!
I ventured out last night bumped into an old friend....lots of laughs!

Working today until 4, it's a bit quiet in here today, lots of co workers off for the day, so let's play!!

Going to be a quick day for me. The movers will be in the building at 11am. Management is kicking us out at noon. I have a wedding to attend. Well, the ceremony is also at 11am this morning, some are going, most of us will catch up for the ****tail hour and lunch at 1pm.

In the meantime, I have to pack the remaining contents of my desk, gets out what seems to be an important e-mail and call some local citites in OH. That shoudl keep me occupied for a while. I really just see myself playing around all morning though.

up a bit early today to head off to work. we have our company brewers game today, and I want to leave at 4 to get ready to go. It should be way nice- I understand this year its catered by Silver Spur, which is way good. should be fun!smile.gif

oh TGIF!! We got poured on last night at Equestrian practice. They had just unloaded the horses and had to load them back up because the storm was gonna hit. We spent about 20 min in the truck as we watched it pour and hail. Despite that it was better than Tuesday night.
Today at work we have the Consumer Picnic. I have not as of yet been told any duties but I still may be pulled away from my desk and expected to participate. Now when I say picnic it is really us providing lunch for our consumers. Unless something as changed it will be indoors. The other shop have a tent set up and are able to do a few activities. But because of having to meet work orders in order to get paid we have to change things up some.

Tonight we might head over to the festival so we can visit with our old hair stylist. It would be better to go from work then to come back out here on the weekend but I also know my husband is pretty tired so we will see.

Okay people, think back when you were single, or if you are single think w/ me here....
Do you remember when you'd go weeks, months w/o a date? And then you'd date a guy one night and then all of sudden there is someone else you bump into who's single and you date him, and then you see someone else and exchange phone numbers and before you know it you have like 5 guys (or girls) who are interested in you?

Well that is how it is for me. I have a guy down the golf course who's still on the back burner, I want to go out w/ him, then I bumped into an old friend last week he took me out last night, and last week I met the guy from the Boating course, he took me out for lunch twice, and today I got a message on my Myspace from an old friend too, who said he's going to call me over the weekend, if I want to go out for a drink.....

When it rains it pours..... smile.gif

Yeah, that always seems to be the way it works Darlene.

I was determined to be happy today, but now I'm just getting annoyed with people. My husband called wondering why he couldn't use the debit card. He didn't understand that we can't use the money that's direct deposited until the day after it's deposited. And then I checked, and his check hasn't been direct deposited yet anyway. Because of my mistake last week, we kinda need that check today.

And while I was on the phone, the one press man that I mentioned before comes up and is standing in my office. That made me kind of mad, it was obvious I was on an important and private call. And the whole reason he came up was to tell me that UPS had delivered. Um yeah, they deliver around this time every day.

I could work a lot better if there were no people around me!

Good Morning, we decided to go to Sturgis for a while last night. I kept having nightmares about the 75 year old lady that had no shirt on and had frogs painted on her twins....well I guess they weren't quite twins since one was resting on her belly and the other on her lap. no.gif

Morning all.  Not much on my agenda today; taking youngest girl to get her hair cut....it's down to her rear right now and she wants it all cut off before she leaves for band camp on Sunday.  Oldest girl said something about going to our local zoo today so maybe the 3 of us will stop by there for a visit.

And now another supplier has screwed up my order. They were supposed to print these collapsible frisbees and matching pouches, and we were supposed to get the order on July 18th. I just got the order today, and the pouches aren't printed. They need these items next week!!!

Drought does suck. My problem is that when it rains, it rains freaks... and not the kind that are fun to hang out with for a while either. The kind of freaks that make you seriously reconsider carrying a tazer.

well I was wrong and apparently they are going to one location and are using a tent. I really will be all alone. I put in a word to 2 people that need to remember to bring me a plate. I has no lunch. I'm not supposed to bring one on picnic day.

mornin I have so much work to get done in so little time...I am working on paper work at home. hmm.gif I really wish I could say screw it..its not my butt this time but it is. Ooooh how I wish it was someone else.

Does anyone know how long that payroll records need to be kept in the office? and applications/resumes?

they need someone to be in the office and to answer phones. I'm ok with that. They are so unorganized I'd rather not participate. This is not a picnic for staff, but for the consumers. It's work for staff. They didn't start planning this until like Monday. No thank you. Now just pray that the phone is quiet and someone remembers to bring me food.
