Can I listen on Windows Media Player rather than the Loud City website?

Yes, just click the icon below the Loud City player and it should open up in Windows Media Player.

In fact, I was having problems tuning in from the Loud City player this morning, so I had to use WMP today.

OK, I did that & Windows Media Player came up, but wasn't playing anything.  So I closed out and tried to get into Loud City again.  Now the site won't even come up!  doh

When WMP doesn't play anything, I double click where it says Freeze Frame Radio on the panel in Now Playing, and that usually gets it going.

When I bring up Windows Media Player, it doesn't show FFR anywhere - just the CD songs I've played in the past.  It shows Playlist & Library.

Up top it should say Now Playing, Library, Rip, Burn, Sync. Click on Now Playing. There it should have a visualization and a panel with the list of songs you're playing (or FFR listed).

I'm getting an error message that says "the server at community.loudcity.com is taking too long to respond."  It won't let me in.  cry

Try going to: File -> Open URL

Then in the URL entry box, enter:
http://ash1.loudcity.fast-serv.com:80/850.96.live.mp3
