In Febuary of 2003, a young man who attended John Glenn High School on Marquette road commited suicide he was a senior, he has been seen roaming the halls of the school during the day, sitting in the audiotorium during the plays, playing with the doors opening and closing them freely and even having converstation with a few students who were close to him. He is usually seen in his tyed dyed shirt and blue jeans. He walks freely around acting as if he is still attending the school, ironicly enough he was also seen by a number of people at Graduation at EMU, not in a graduation cap and gown but in that same tye dyed shirt and those jeans.

now this place always spooked me just when driving by- also where I grew up:
Eloise Insane Asylum - The ghosts of many of the tormented patients walk the halls of this asylum that was converted into an office building. Voices are heard by the workers and teenagers who go to this location for a thrill. Many picture of paranormal things have been captured at this location. Lights are turned on and off. Growls and moans are heard by the playground built for the use of the office workers' kids. October 2004 Update: Most of it has been torn down. there is still a building standing that people still go to and also there is a cemetary behind it that is actually more haunted then the actual building itself...with only patients numbers on them. Only a few buildings remain on the property of the old Asylum. The D building now known as the Kay Beard building, also the fire house, the power plant and the bakery are all still there.

Oooo, I see JB Meinburg's is on the list. I love that bar, but I don't like walking down the hallway to use the bathroom, and I swear I've thought the waitress has asked me what I wanted to drink, only the waitress wasn't there. This is a really cool bar......built back in the 1800's, has a MASSIVE cherry bar with a huge old mirror built into the bar.
J.B. Meinburg's is an old pub that is said to be haunted by an old bar maid. She is occasionally seen checking on the tables at the back of the bar. She has whispered in people's ear, asking if they needed a drink. She has been seen walking into the back hall.
Yikes! This is a creepy one, not too far from where I live now.
I was thinking on my way home I should spend a night in point pleasant, where the whole Mothman thing happened. Maybe I could add this place to the route...
During the 1800s, a man went off to hunt for food. Upon return to his home, however, he discovered the mutilated bodies of his wife and child. Immediately, he summoned the sheriff. Since the bodies were so horribly mutilated and there were no other suspects, the husband was sent to a mental institution.
Maintaining his innocence, the man vowed revenge. After escaping from the institution, the man took up residence near a bridge. Since the only clothes he owned were those made from rabbits skin, he soon became known as the Bunny Man. As time passed, children started playing near and around the Bunny Man. When several children came up missing, the authorities were notified.
When they reached the bridge, officials saw body parts of the children hanging from trees; they also saw the Bunny Man being run over by a train. Today it is said that one may see body parts hanging from the trees and will hear the Bunny Man laughing.
I'll go ghost hunting with you JR!! I'm always up for a good scare, haha. Um if we see something though, ya gotta promise not to run off and leave me alone with whatever it is.

We'll need more than the two of us though Ghost. Strength in numbers.
Those guys on Ghosthunters get to go in with camera men and a whole crew. Easy to be tough then isn't it?
I can't believe the street I grew up on is not listed anywhere. There sure was enough stuff around there
Woo, that house I was talking about in this thread isn't on the list either, but all of us locals know all about it. Many, many people (besides the homeowners) have witnessed the windows breaking out on their own and have heard screams coming from inside.

Awwwwwwww man! WE GOTTA GO CHECK IT OUT!!!! I'll bring my camera!!!
This active Michigan cemetery is well-known for it's ghostly apparitions, including orbs, vortexes, voices, cold spots, shadowy figures, and various full apparitions. The grave of a witch whose name was apparently Elizabeth is located here somewhere.
Soop Cemetery was originated around 1800 and is apparently now referred to as Pleasantview Cemetery. Stories abound about groundskeepers who have noticed odd phenomena, especially around the witch's grave, who afterwards refuse to do maintenance in that vicinity. Many reports of a menacing growling sound have been reported when entering the cemetery at night, and other reports of voices and strange sounds are fairly common here. By all reports, this is a site with a lot of unusual phenomena, and there are many success stories as far as getting this phenomena on film and on tape. As such, this a must-see site for amateurs and professionals alike who find themselves in the Belleville area.

Ok, but we both have to take extra batteries. Remember what Jay and Grant say......ghosts pull energy from batteries.

Wow, they have vortexes going on there and growling sounds??!! THAT IS CREEPY!!! I know where Belleville is. Who wants to go with me to this place??
Yeah. That's right. That's why I bought a camera that uses regular batteries instead of some goofy shaped, special designed rechargeable. For situations JUST LIKE THIS!
