Happy Days in Milwaukee 4 all U Cheese-heads

Milwaukee to get 'Fonz' in bronze
August 18, 2008

Number of scenes from "Happy Days" set in Milwaukee that were filmed there over the TV show's 11 seasons.

A life-size statue of the leather-jacketed character Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli will be dedicated Tuesday in downtown. Henry Winkler, who played Fonzarelli, will be among the attendants.

One of the few things I can relate with Milwaukee.

Happy days is written based on Nicolet High School, even using the school colors, and Arnold's was a shoppe called Milky Way. Remember it well. It's now a Kopp's on Port Washington, north of Silver Springs.
