Welcome To Saturday

My husband just left to go golfing and I thought that I would just get up instead of sleeping like a bum. I have music files to go through, cd list to go through, cards to make, and some cleaning- maybe to do today. Should be a good day smile

G'mornin' world!!!! clap.gif

I gots NO sleep again last night cry.gif

Strange thing is, I've been functioning pretty well on only 4 hours a night this week. Still though, I'd like another good, solid night of sleep one of these days!

Alright. Let's get this weekend started!

Good day all. We got woke up this morning by our neighbor asking us to watch her dogs while she's at the lake today. I probably could've slept for a while yet. And my throat is really sore today, so I'm going to have a bit of tea.

There's not too much on the agenda today. Groceries. Perhaps a bit of cleaning.

oh good day ey?

today will be spent at festa mexicana down at the summerfest grounds. volentering at the radio tent. chance of thunderstorms, kinda hot and muggy, but hopefully the winds will keep us cool. the tent isn't so much a tent as its a rag on sticks, so if it storms, it could be rough. we'll see.

Howdy.

Its been a slow morning so far but it will pick up later.

We all had haircuts last night and picked up a couple movies. We were all disappointed in the movies. The boy got a Garfield movie that the DVD must be messed up. It would cause our player to make strange clicking noises. It would eventually quiet down and start to play, but only a couple minutes into it, it would start over and begin the noises again.

We got "21" too. It was an ok story, but with the previews I saw on TV, I was like "Oh man, that looks good!" I think the 30 seconds of action they showed in the preview was the only 30 seconds of action in the whole movie. no.gif

I need to work on a lesson for tomorrow, then I need to cut off an hem five pair of jeans (new school jeans), and then I plan to work in the basement on getting my ham/computer desk cleaned up and organized so I can play radio when I want without having to clear off a spot.

Saturday on.

Me either JR, at least not fitful. The burglar alarm went off just after I fell asleep and the dogs went crazy. No question someone tried to break in. But the night was ruined. could not go back to sleep. everysound, i was up and looking around.

We caught someone trying to break into my grandparents house once when I was staying over. It's disturbing to say the least.

Well, not really . . . I just do the machine sewing because I know the machine. I've made a few kites and in the process learned all the fetures of the sewing machine. So, that means I have to do all the machine sewing now. hmm.gif

See, that's why you're never supposed to let em' know you know anything.

My Dad mastered the art of not being good at ANYTHING around the house. My Mom would ask him to do something and he'd say "awe honey, but you do it better than I can, why don't you just do it so it's done right" biggrin.gif

Makin' progress. Just got done chopping the jeans off.

Everything is done (forgot it was food day so I had to go get that too) except for the work on my desk down stairs. I should be able to go get on that now.

The video store had another copy of the Garfield movie and it worked just fine so the boy was happy and enjoy that this afternoon.

Go Us!

We should slip in some FFR stuff. That's a cool way to get in. I used to get called for Irish Fest and Indian Summer. Once in, UWEx would give me some "cash" (tickets) It was pretty cool. VIP parking, right near the south entrance, food & drink etc. All we had to do was a three hour gig demonstrating the "Energy Cylcle".
