Oh I hate those jumping spiders!! We have black jumpers up north and I swear they know I'm gonna squish 'em.....they jump out of the way at the last minute. This past week while I was up there, I learned to outsmart 'em.....made them think I was coming in after them one way and got 'em when they jumped. There's a few less jumpers up there now!
According to what I read they can't even see you until you're within 8 inches, but that's bull crap. That sucker was skittering away from me when I was within two feet.
