The apt I saw this morning was so dated. Cute, affordable, nice layout, but old linolium flooring w/ orange and green. And bright orange countertops!!!
not sure why the guys just go to home depot and by some cheap linolium and replace it.... the countertops I could handle but the floor was a BIT LOUD!!!!!!
I finally got my landlord to agree to let me tone it down. It had yellow linolium, white cabinets with sunshine yellow doors, white wall paper with HUGE yellow, orange, and green tuilps and daisys, a yellow fridge and an avocado stove. I still have nightmares about it.

I remember very well the first time I staggered in there with a hangover and flipped on the light. I just screamed, grabbed my head and curled up in a fetal position on the floor. Kev was used to it... it was his house... he came in and turned the light off. Said he forgot to warn me how loud it was in the morning. Friggin psychotically ugly kitchen!

That makes for a rough morning after... I used to have that color scheme in the kitchen at an old rental house. I called it the LSD kitchen.
