Okay JR. So my Phillies held on and won last night. However, I see that your Brewers faltered late. They were up the last time I saw the score. Tough time to have a guy give up three runs in an inning. We are creeping closer to you guys for the Wild Card lead. This weekend's series could be more important than I originally thought.
What is amazing is that the Cubs are faltering a bit and you guys haven't really been able to gain on them. You are struggling at the same time. All I can hope is that the Phillies win 14 or 15 of their last 18. And the Mets lose about 12 of their last 19. That way the Phillies can win the division and the Mets stay far enough behind you guys for the Wild Card.

I'm GLAD I can't watch the games right now Fuzzy. Our bullpen is shameful.
We could have all but wrapped up the wild card with this ten game home stand against mostly awful teams. Instead we're collapsing. I don't think I can watch the rest of the way, it's too hard on me
Our ten game trip to Philly, Chicago & Cincy will be the end of us. You or the Mets will have the wild card by the time that trip is over.
Nothing is a guarantee. You know the spoilers are out there. Plus you have guys making a case now for an invite to spring training or a roster spot in April. The Phillies should have a good chance with their schedule remaining, most of it in the division. But that is where we get played the toughest. If the Phils can win every series and maybe throw a sweep or two in, they may be good to go. I hope the Mets fall exactly like they did last year.
The Phillies still need a fifth starter. Blanton sucks. He walks too many guys. Walked three last night and they all scored.

I think the Red Sox are going to take over the lead in the American League East... I really do. Forget about the Wild Card now. TB won't play over 500 % baseball for the rest of their season I bet.
