I sure hope this isn't the afterlife because if it is that means I start work each day at 6:00!! Had a staff meeting at that ungodly hour this morning.....and they wondered why we didn't have much input this morning. Well jeez, if you'd schedule this things at a decent hour maybe we'd be AWAKE to add our input!!
Anway it did get me out of work a little earlier today so maybe the afterlife isn't so bad.
That's my boss Ruby. She thinks scheduling a staff meeting during normal working hours is "ridiculous and uncalled for". Better to drag us in an hour early and get the meeting out of the way because that's what she's used to doing at her "old" job, which she hasn't been at for years and years.
No, I work in Human Resource; she's my direct supervisor. She was hired about 10 years ago, before I started working at this job. She's the one that told us the first week of school she may be retiring in January, then 3 days later said it might not be until the end of the school year. We're hoping for the January retirement. She needs to go!!!
I didn't even know they were playing Fuzzy. I'll check back in on them in a week. I can't take it anymore. They're killing me. they are absolutely killing me.
I think Sabathia was pitching today. I figured this would be the day he finally had a bad start and gets a loss.
Here's your candy bar... (you didn't think I'd get you the real thing did you? Haven't you learned not to make deals with the devil yet?)
I only noticed the Brewers were playing because I was getting ready to track the Phillies game. They start at 4pm. I have to tell you I am relieved that we will miss Sabathia this weekend. Come on, you have to watch this weekend. I think they will be good games. I think Friday through Sunday may be sold out. Standing room only was available for Friday and Saturday about a week ago.
Let's go Phils!

That's when we actually had a team! When we were kids, my mom used to take us to the games every now and again. We were big George Brett fans. He used to have a restaurant down on the Country Club Plaza... the fancy shopping district for the area. I don't know if he still owns it. I didn't look last time I was there.
I'm Mad 5'2" Mema... I can't crack on ol' Freddie!
