Favorite Item From the Vending Machine

What is it that is calling to you from the vending machines at work??

For me,it is the Hershey Bar WITH ALMONDS. This concoction is better than lunch hour. Another new favorite is the vinegar and dill potato chips. I first bought them because I could not believe such a horrific sounding chip existed. Now I am HOOKED! I guess the vinegar chip is huge in england- & I now see why!

Well we do have Salt and Vinegar chips or crisps as we call them, and yes they are one of the nations best selling flavours!

Gardettos mix... I can hear it now. I like the little melba toasts the best.

Ultimo, The dill chips are simular to the salt and vinegar except they are more like a pickle and will make your lips pucker.

Oh man- are the Gardettos addicting!!!

Hey does anyone remember lime Starbursts? They were replaced by the strawberry ones in the late 70s or early 80s I believe. Now strawberry is awesome, but I do miss the lime- that was my favorite as a kid.

I love Haribo!  I love the cola gummi's and the cherry gummi's.  We don't have a vending machine at work.    However, that might be a good thing.  I don't eat sugar, so I won't be tempted.  I do eat a bag of sunflower kernels every day.  That is my crunchy snack.  And lots and lots and lots of diet pepsi.  Yum!

Haribo is a brand of gummi's.  They make gummi bears, cola gummis, cherry gummis, the list goes on and on.  I love them.  You can find them at some Wal-Marts in the candy aisle.  They are a German gummi company (which means they are the best in the world!).

Trish--if you like gummies, you should try something called Winegums or Fruit Pastilles.  You can find them at some specialty stores.  You will never go back to American Candy again.  My wife if from South Africa and introduced these to me.  Chocolate from England is to die for as well.  try an English Cadbury and you will never have Hershey's again.

Yeah we get winegums and fruit pastells here in the UK, they are great.

I love Bassets Jelly babies too, don't know if you get those over there!

And Cadburys is the best chocolate in the world with out a doubt!

I like a cracker package best. Wheat and cheese! I have only eaten out of our snack machine once in five years. I always bring snacks!

Here at the hospital they have this AWESOME cake in the vending machine. It's a piece about 3" by 3" either yellow or chocolate cake with about a quarter of an inch of the best chocolate frosting I've ever tasted. I shared a piece with my hubby a few minutes ago...he tried to fight me for the last bite.

This depends on the craving- these are the usual, but it may vary. Candy is Skittles, but prefer to have a flavor other than original. My biggest problem is Cheeze-Its! And OH MY if it's white cheddar flavor! Unless I have a big box instead of a vending bag size, DON'T PLAN ON GETTING ANY! LOL!!!

Not necessarily from a vending machine, but snacks in general, I love teriyaki jerky and Cadbury Eggs. My hubby and I always say, "Love is in the shape of an egg!"

I love Cadbury eggs, but I can't eat them. Too much sugar. They haven't come out with a sugar free one yet. I guess it's not high on the priority list. Also, I guess there are just some things you don't fool with. I will have to eat at least one before Easter, though. I like the Cadbury mini-eggs, also. There isn't much Cadbury that I won't eat. I'm not a vending machine kind of gal. The ones we had at our old office were just filled with junk and I try to stay away from that. We don't have any vending machines at our new office. Of course, we do have a bakery two steps away. The print room has officially been renamed the pastry room. Someone is always buying donuts and leaving them in there.

we have got a new vending service here at work since last week. I dig that they have healthier snack choices. There are the no-fat pretzles, these potato chip like things that are actually beet, carrot and something else that are low fat. There is trail mix in there too.

My husband used to work at a factory that had a vending machine with healthy snacks in it, as well as the bad stuff. They priced the healthy stuff way low and the other stuff was regularly priced. He said it was funny because it just meant that people could afford to have the fat free cookies AND the big bag of chips.

Tough question because for me it is mood dependent.  On the whole, probably plain M&Ms.  LOVE THEM.  Skittles too.  Sometimes Chex Mix.   If I'm really hungry, then the good ol' Oats & Honey granola bar.

I get a craving for skittles every once in awhile. Usually those are the first to sell out here because, besides the healthier stuff, all there is is chocolate and potato chips. 28 types of chocolate, 10 types of chips. blah.

I don't think so sparky- usually I am so lost in a rainbow of flavor that any pain would be unnoticable.

Oh and the chips-veggie crisps- "a bountifull blend of potato, spinnach and tomato chips".
