Although they still haven't charged the guy with the murder, I wonder why. It doesn't seem like they think anyone else is a suspect.

A man authorities linked to the murder of a popular bartender at the west side tavern Coop's Tiny Tap, was sentenced to five years in prison today on an unrelated charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Pam Roberts, 58, was beaten to death on Feb. 26 while working at Coop's Tiny Tap, 5501 W. Vliet St.
Joel Cecil Cain was arrested on March 6 on suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide in her death, but has as never been charged with her murder.
Three days after his arrest, Cain, 37, was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. The gun charge is unrelated to the homicide, and officials will not say if Cain remains a suspect in Robert's murder. No one else has been charged with her death.
