But I am not really any of those things. Except that I hang out with you guys all day. The boss doesn't know it. But I do my work too. I don't think she hates me.

And we must remember, that generally, the people in charge of things have no idea what they are doing, and we have no idea how they got there.

JD,  I don't know if you're referring to your time at Vestcom or not, but if you are, that was the worst kind of hell.

As leads you had no authority to discipline or fire, so no one really respected the lead position.  I hated being a lead operator.  All the responsibility with none of the decision making power outside of determining how to plan the workload.

 

My boss must like me. He lets me do whatever I want as long as I get my work done.

Sometimes I don't get my work done and he STILL lets me do what I want.

He's a good boss.

I just let her THINK that.
