I, for one, am glad Friday is here. I am tired today. Maybe it is just a side effect of a five day work week. It is cloudy now and I think we are expecting some rain later this afternoon and tonight.

Good Morning, when I got here this morning someone had left the coffee pot on all night. There was burnt coffee three feet up on the wall and the bottom of the carafe was charcoal. no.gif

good morning everyone... i think i'm looking more foreward to monday... receptionist will be back from vacation (married maybe?) and i can get back to my stuff...

our company sent a team to houston yesterday -- yes, towards the hurricane -- to help cool down the furnaces at a glass plant before ike lands... this is our second hurricane prevention trip... last time was rita.

just want to wish everyone a fabulous friday!

ya! when we were making flight reservations (had to go private jet), the gal says, "you know, people are LEAVING houston..."

as far as evacutation goes, the plant is equiped with cots, food and facilities. if it floods (if?), there is a boat on the lot evacuation ready...

oh, and about the private jet, after leaving tulsa, it took a detour to pick up someone in DC before going to houston....

Howdy.

Today is a free hazardous waste disposal day at the recycle center. I just stripped out three old computers to take the circuit boards in. My nephew will take the cases for scrap. I've heard some say the circuit boards should be recycled and other say there are not enough bad things in them to make a difference. I'll still see if they will take them off my hands.

Yay. Friday.

yea, friday. I am dreading sunday. My daughter turns 16. She is having a big party at her mom's house. My in-laws will be there and my wife's lover. I really wish I did not have to go. Have to sounds bad. I want to celebrate my daughter's birthday, but I do not want to see my in laws or HIM. He can have my wife, I just despise the thought of HIM being there.

my future ex said she did not want to invite me (my daughter) and I don't know if that is true or not, but I was invited becasue of the younger daughter.

sometimes i really hate being a parent. it is so painful watching kids grow up, make wrong decisions and all that. my mom says that it never gets easier either.

I am here, been in a meeting all morning. I am enjoying my new duties!

had a blast last night, but too much wine and I was up most of the night. Wine makes me sleep at first, but then I guess all the sugar keeps me up all night:( But free wine is free wine, but oh my head!

Friday!! clap.gif  It's been a long week but my work day is over and I'm ready for the weekend!! 

Have to go to a high school football game tonight....youngest girl's in marching band, they play at half time.  I think I'll leave after half time; I'm not a huge fan of the sport and I get bored easily. 

I'm trying to come up with something for dinner, but I'm not sure what I want.  Mz's pot roast sounds good!  Maybe I'll make one for tomorrow's dinner.  smile
