I think of all the members here as my friends, even JR!!
And I love to debate stuff with everybody here......love to hear everyone's unique opinions on things. JR and I can really get into some interesting discussions without getting mad at each other. It's great!!
I have no problem with the guys watching a game. It's when they watch 3 or 4 different games all in one day that drives me bonkers.
Luckily, my husband isn't a football watcher.
He's into car racing though. He watches a lot of different races and different kinds of cars racing. His love is Pro Rally racing.
I can watch a race, but not a whole day of racing.
Come to think of it, I don't think I can take a whole day of watching anything on tv.
I'm the football watcher in my family. I have no issue watching 3 or 4 games all in one day.
Matter of fact, I'm kinda bummed that I have stuff going on tomorrow. My best friend has Chief's season tickets. They guy who was supposed to go to the game with him backed out, so he called to ask if I wanted to go with him. I'd LOVE to, but I already commited to the March of Dimes Bikers for Babies ride.
Sorry you are having the hassles... that's never fun.

Nah, I don't need a mediator. I need a good divorce lawyer.
If you were in KC, I'd strongly recommend Ferree, Bunn, O'Grady, & Rundberg...
Seriously though, I hope things work out for you. Divorce is painful, no matter how much it may seem like the right thing to do. It's a very humanizing experience.

Ghost... I truly feel for you. I sat on that fence for 6 years because I didn't want to be a divorced person. My parents got divorced, my brother and sister have both been divorced twice, and almost all of my friends have at least one divorce behind them. I saw how painful it was and I didn't want that for my little family.
If it is the right thing for you to do, you will just know it. Some place, at some time it will just occur to you that you are DONE. I remember well the instant I came to that conclusion. It was probably the most small and alone I ever felt in my life, but that rapidly changed to relief. All I can say is remember that you deserve to be happy and at peace with your life. Also remember your friends are here for you... some of us can relate more than you probably know.
D... I will absolutely be cheering the Packers. I have an internet capable phone, so I will be monitoring the games. Soon as the ride is over, I'm heading home to veg out and catch what I can.

Thanks Mema!! You already know a little bit of the problem from earlier posts of mine and I think that you can relate well to what's happening here. I might take you up on the offer of talking more about it one of these days.
