It's been raining here since Friday night and it's still raining!  I'm watching all of my neighbors' yards fill up with water, wondering when it's going to spill over into mine.  We sit a little higher than the rest of them, but if it keeps raining all night by tomorrow I'll need a boat to get to my car in the drive.

Still no water in the basement, so that's a very good thing.  smile

I spent all weekend at the Brickyard watching the MotoGP bikes. They are nuts! Leaning up to 59 degrees going through the corners. Getting good use of the knee pucks. However, Ike joined the crowd around 2:00 and really hit with rain and 50 mph winds during the MotoGP race. It was red flagged when the conditions got too rough. Yamaha had a huge display tent with several bikes, like a mobile show room located along the back stretch. The winds ripped up the tent and collapsed the aluminum frame trapping several people and sending two to the hospital. It was wicked. The last time I saw something like that was 2004 when we actually watched a tornado from the ninth floor of the Pagoda on race day.

Wow!!  That sounds like it was a wild time at the races today Ray!  Glad to hear more people weren't hurt; could've turned ugly fast.

We had some pretty fierce winds down here too Ray.  There's power out everywhere, but luckily (unfortunately?) I have power at both work and home.  I'm glad to hear they stopped the race, that could've gotten bad.
