What do you think of the Brewers' decision to fire manager Ned Yost?

Also, how sad is it the TB Rays are in 1st place and their stadium last night was filled up more w/ Red Sox fans than their own fans.... what is wrong w/ people?
Don't get me wrong it's nice to see the support behind the Sox when they are playing away but for a team to be in first place and their home park is still empty that's just sad.

Now who wants to talk about how the Red Sox are tied today w/ the American League East for 1st place? Anyone? Forget the Wild Card, I think we'll win the division.

And finally there is a poll on www.usatoday.com about the firing of Ned Yost? What are your thoughts?

I was so excited about it yesterday.

But I've talked and chatted and emailed about it so much I don't have the energy to go through it again. I'll see if I can find yesterdays comments.

The short answer: THANK GOD. Whatever happens the rest of the way, he HAD to go.

With both the Brewers and Phillies off last night, JR and I did no baseball talking today. We chatted at length yesterday about the Phillies Brewers series over the weekend (the Phillies took all four) and the firing of Yost. I really can't believe he wasn't fired two years ago.

and no comment on how the Red Sox are going to win the division and fill other people's stands w/ their fans?? No comment on that JR? It's not always all about your baseball world JR!!

we shoulda got rid of Yost 2 yrs ago- they choked real bad, dropping 10 in a row I think in August???

I was staying away from the Red Sox so I wouldn't have to say anything unkind. Momma always taught me if I had nothing nice to say to shut up.
