Wow!  No wonder we're not hearing much from Sparky, he's probably on the ledge!

Another 450 point drop today!  The dow is at 10609.66.  It wasn't that long ago that it was at 14000.  that's incredible.  To think it could conceivably sink under 10,000 again.

wow!  Oil sunk to around 91 bucks a barrell untile rebounding to 97.

When we gonna see this at the pump?

It was October 9'th last year that it hit it's all time record high.

Which is why back then I was one of the ones insisting the economy wasn't as bad as people were making it out to be. The markets were in better shape than ever.

But what a difference a year makes hmm.gif

Monday, I was curled up in the fetal position, Tuesday I was able to stretch a leg out. Today I am back in the fetal position again. We just had a meeting at 2:00 (with cake - cheer up fellas ha ha ha) all 11 of us took turns staring at each other. My brain is fried, my nerves are fried and I want my teddy bear from when I was a little boy (18 or so). I don't suppose any of you have 180 billion or so lying around do you?

The phone hasn't stopped ringing, I think the poor kid answering the phones at the front desk is thinking about quiting. We've been thru it before but not quite this bad. It will (hopefully quiet down by Monday). If they would just take a breath, stop short selling, even if for just one day it would help tremendously. Wachovia is the next to watch out for....
