It turned out to be a nice day after a really cool start this morning. When I got out of work, I was surprised at how warm it had become. I came home and opened some windows for a while. In fact, I just closed them all about an hour ago because it was starting to get a little chilly in the house.
I live about in the middle of the lower peninsula. I'm much closer to Lake Huron than Lake MI. If you look at your right palm and stick your finger in the center, that's right about where I live. People from MI always use the right hand thing to describe to other people where they live. And if they live in the U.P., they use their left hand, palm up, sideways.
Woo lives southeast of me. She's down near Oakland county I think; probably a little more than an hour's drive, depending on the traffic on I-75. She's terrible with directions, and is the first to admit it, but I have a general idea of where she lives.
So what's new with you? Have you seen any of the recent Ghost Hunter episodes? I'll be watching them on youtube now that I've discontinued my satellite service. Had to do it for a while in an effort to cut back on some expenses.
No, I've been missing them. I'll probably catch up on youtube myself over the next few weeks.
This is the busy season for DVD releases. It seems like every week there's a TV Show on DVD I want. That's been occupying my TV time for the most part. This week it's CHUCK, one of my new favorites from last year.
The weather here has been SOOOOOOOOOOO awesome. It's really making me think this is where I want to live one day. The humidity was horrible in summer and we still have days where the humidity is oppressive. But overall it's been georgous.
I can't imagine how nice winter must be without snow.
Yeah, I'd love to live down South....most likely Florida even though it gets extemely hot and humid during the summer. My husband said Hawaii is the best place to live....gorgeous weather almost all time, but no way could I afford to live there! He lived there for 14 years before moving to MI. I don't understand why the heck he ever left HI. I have an ex sister-in-law that lives in Honolulu....she's after me all the time to come there. I told her if I ever did, I'd never come back to Michigan.
