I'd have to steal my mom's bow and save up some money for arrows, but I can shoot and hunt if needed.

But someone else would have to clean it and cook it. Whatever "it" happens to be.

I'll help with cooking! Somebody else is going to have to do the "cleaning it" part. I'm not squeemish, but I'm an animal person so I'd probably get all sad about it.

Okay. I can't live outside due to my condition. I would have to run a motel so I had an indoor place to stay.

Ok, my husband hunts, so cleaning animals to eat is no biggie for him.  JD, we won't need to be eating any raccoons......venison and turkey is plentiful up there, along with bear if anyone like it, rabbits and squirrels too though I'll pass on the last three.  If we all put in for a moose permit, and one of us was lucky enough to get drawn, we wouldn't starve.  I'll cook with Mema.....I'm used to cooking wild game so it won't taste "wild".  Oh, there's also a lake so we can have fish too!

Pambo, you won't have to stay outside.  I'll find room in the cabin for you.  smile

These are wild turkeys now......there's no white meat on 'em.  They're delicious in a smoker or one of those outdoor deep fryers!!! lick.gif

awhile back I was actually looking at (not necessarily into) communal living. There's some sort of village out in one of the suburbs here. You buy one of the eco-homes on a plot of land for $20,000, grow some veggies in a garden, join a committee to help run the place somehow, and live in peace and read books. sounds like a hippie heaven haven....  smile

I do have a lovely copy of the Joy Of Cooking. It has recipes for just about any game you can think of. nod.gif I've never tried cooking a bear confuse.gif they just don't have that in your standard issue Johnson County, Kansas grocery store... but hey... I bet we can make it work.
