Although the weather is still nice out, once the temps cool and the leaves have fallen, movies tend to be more popular.

Fall is when many of the academy award nominated movies are distributed, so it is always a good time for good movies.

Are there any movies anyone is looking forward to seeing?  Are there any movies anyone has seen they want to recommend?

Siskel and Ebert are saving us the aisle seats... so with the weekend upon us, a review or recommendation?

I want to see "The Women".  The trailers look pretty good and it has some of my favorite actresses in it.  Probably not an award winning movie, but it looks like a good chick flick.  smile

Have yet to see one that's really peaked my interest.

That LAKEVIEW TERRACE or whatever, with Samuel L. Jackson looks intersting, but not enough to get me into the theater.

I kind of want to see Lakeview Terrace as well, but I can wait until it comes out on DVD...or comes out on T.V. as that is more likely.

Some movies can wait till DVD, I agree.

Mz, that sounds like a really original storyline.  a movie last fall caught my eye for the same reason...the movie "Once".  Did you happen to see it?

I really think you would like it  Mz.  Its about a Dublin street musician and the music collaboration he forms with a young mother working as a street vendor.

Its kind of a pivotal time in both their lives and how their friendship changed both their lives.

You will have to let me know your thoughts on it if you see it.
