Team Owner and President Mark Attanasio announced the club will be unveiling a new mascot and team nickname commensurate with the club's new image.
In the synergistic mode of brand marketing the Milwaukee Brewers will be renamed the Milwaukee Heimlichs. In an effort to prevent choking this bad in individuals and small or large groups the club hope to use its platform as a means to educate the public.
The Mascot will be unveiled in October. After the World Series, the Brewers hoped to get to.
Maybe I should start a grass roots campaign to get a truth in advertising name change for the Royals. 'Welcome to Kauffman Stadium, home of your hometown Hoovers! Nobody sucks like we do!!"

You got a beautiful park though! I was down there for a couple days a few years ago and caught a Brewers / Royals game (ok, more than a COUPLE years ago I guess, I think it was the crews last year in the AL. MAN TIME FLIES)
I love the big logo in center field and the waterfalls. As a visitor I also appreciated the easy win
Consistency on the other hand is kind of comforting. You guys probably have hope for next year that the Brewers might do something good. Me? I already know the Royals will suck. When they hit another losing streak, I just smile and say, "Yep. Sounds about right!"

I have a hard time understanding why we have had so many of them. It seems like they really haven't had a good team since the year they won the world series. It's not that they lack talented players. Everybody they trade out goes on to have a fabulous next few years with the teams they trade to.

Early this year they reminded me a LOT of classic Brewer teams. That huge losing streak (what'd you guy lose like 13 straight?)
You appear out of it by May, then suddenly somehow get hot, claw back to .500, you think "Hey, Maybe this team can do something!" then they fall apart again
I used to be. I tried to get back into watching the games after the strike, but just couldn't get into it. I have started watching the minor league games in the last couple years since we got a minor league team in town. I've been to 5 or 6 T-Bones games in the last 2 years. They are way more fun than what I remember of going to Royals games. Lots more affordable too.

Good Point, I always wanted a chauffer who knew his place. Drive, wait, drive again. Simple. Deranged chauffeurs in guitar shops dont go over too well. You memmer!
The Brewers pulled one out yesterday. Maybe the Cubs can help them out this week. The Brew Crew is only 1.5 games back in the wildcard chase. The Mets still scare me. I won't feel better until the end of the week. It could be a very long week in my sports world.
We also know about losing teams. When your team has been around for 120+ years and has over 10,000 loses, you understand these things. The Phillies went through decades with losing teams.

If the Brewers are the wild card team, I wonder what the matchups would be. You can't have the 1 vs 4 thing because they would be in the same division. I wonder if the Phillies (should they win the division of course) would get the Brewers in the first round.

We'd definately have to make a wager. And the cool thing for you is you could pack up and ship the tastykakes before the series even ended, cus we both know the Brew Crew would wind up winnin'
We were just layin' in the weeds earlier this month. Lettin' you guys get comfortable, thinkin' the Brewers Suck.
In October you'll see the REAL Brewers.
Of course, it's all dependent on those STINK METS and if they'd start CHOKING already!!!
