RE: Brewers Announce Name Switch For 2009 Campaign

Oh well, closer every year. That is what the Phillies did. A game out for three or four years before last year.

"Wait Till Next Year" ... The anthem every sports fan knows all too well.

After the Muts blew it last night, the Brewers are only a game out of the wild card. Seriously, how do you expect to win a game when you give up a grand slam to the pitcher?

This is our only hope.

If we could go 4 - 2 the rest of the way and the Mets could go 2 - 4 we could win the wild card outright.

But ultimately it's in the Mets hands, if they take care of business we're done. hmm.gif

I am not sure who the Phillies would rather face in the playoffs, the Dodgers or Brewers. Even though the Brewers are struggling, they kind of scare me. I know what they are capable of at any moment. I believe your pitching has the potential to be better than LA too. If I knew the Brewers would fall to the Phillies exactly how they did for they four game set a week and a half ago, I would say, "Bring them on!" So forgive me when I say it may be a wiser, maybe the word I want is actually safer, chioce to face the Dodgers.

Actually, my one hope for this team is that maybe they'll got on a roll and wind up doing some real damage in the playoffs. They've played like crap for a month, before this they were surprisingly consistent. Who know's if we get on a roll again we could pull a ROCKIES nod.gif

Yeah, okay. You know how incredibly lucky there were at the end of the season? I think they started rolling before now. But hey, as of right now, it would work. I still kind of fear the Brewers.
