Happy Anniversary To JD And His Shows!!!!!

I know I tell you all the time how much I really appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to host these shows for us on Sunday nights, but I wanted to say it again, especially since you just mentioned on air that it was an anniversary for you.  I love all three of your shows simply because of the music diversity found in each one of them.  Plus I love having a real DJ cranking out the tunes instead of just an automated system.  By having you live in the studio, it's helped me learn more about some of the songs you choose to play for us and the artists who perform them.

I hope you'll continue to do the shows for many years to come, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing the shows simply because you enjoy it.

Happy Anniversary to you and your shows!!!

smile

You know JD, I actually think it was February or March of 04 that you started.  Still a long time though, and I could be wrong.  But here's my thinking.

I know you started shortly after we had a "family" get together because it was at a family get together that I showed you the station and we were running from the office to the living room to hear ourselves.   But we haven't had a September 11 cookout at my house since 2001, you kind of took it over after that and it's been at your house ever since.

So I think I showed you the station at a Christmas get together at my house and then it was February or March when you started doing shows.

Again though, I could be wrong.  We really should have made a note of our station acheivements.

Regardless, whether it's four and a half or five years, congratulations and good work!  clap.gif  party.gif

I have to say, although I'm not a huge fan of spending a pile of my time on line... JD, you're stuff is the ****. That will get bleeped. You really are fantastic. Don't let anyone make you feel any less for it. The fact that all week long you think about the four or five people that tune in... that's the sheaat!
Thanks. you have changed the way I play on the internet. some people, well there isn't much else but, except for Ghost most people on line have a life. (jk ghost!)hmm.gif

The nice thing with the internet radio is you don't have to "spend your time online"

Tune in and let it be the background to your night. What's not to like?

I wonder if I could figure it out by checking out the backup of your music files.  The earliest created music files might tell us when you started to the day!

I talked to my dad awhile back and said "crite almighty, i don't remember things well, like specific dates that were big deals in the past, or when this or that happened." He assured me thats not a problem. its a problem when you can't stop thinking about the past, and forget to put on your shoes etc to go take the garbage out in winter, etc.smile.gif

Wow, conrgats JD! Has it really been that long that you've been our illustrious DJ? But then, I think it's been your calling since you were just a pup, right? Ah, the memories...
