completely absurd. that was the only good thing about aliens. they were paying into the social security pool without being able to draw from it.

I didn't check out all those links or their validity, but if even 1/2 of those things are true its absurd that we are spending that kind of OUR MONEY on these things.

Yet another reason to dislike some of those folks. I see my least favorite Senator (Chris Dodd) is on here. Got an e-mail yesterday that dude was also THE primary recipient of campaign donations from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in the last few years...

you know, i don't mind people coming to the "land of opportunity" as long as they come here legally and have to abide by the same rules and be accountable by the same consequenses as those that are here legally and / or are citizens. it really ticks me off that we have immigrants from other countries (not limited to mexico) that arrive here with an attitude of entitlement and don't think they should be held accountable for breaking the law...


oh, yeah... and learn to read and write the American language...

I'm with you. I have lots of legal immigrant friends. Happy to know them and I'm really glad they are here. I don't think it is wrong to expect people who want to be here to learn the language, get a job, pay taxes, and observe the laws.
