Fuzzy! What a night of Baseball huh?

I was chatting with Web and told him the Met's were tied 6 - 6 in the ninth and the Brewers were tied 1 - 1 in the seventh.  At that time things could have gone either way.  The Brewers could wind up a game ahead in the standings or a game behind.  As it turned out we just stayed tied.

Ryan Braun has really been struggling but I'll tell you he's like no player I've EVER seen on the Brewers.  Even in the midst of a big slump he is absolutely the one I want at the plate with the game on the line.

A two out, 2-2 pitch and he cranks out a walk-off grand slam.  WHAT FUN!

And we needed it, cus those stinky Met's pulled out a walk-off 7 - 6 win versus Chicago.

Now I'm worried.  We have three with the Cubs and the Mets have three with Florida.  I definaely think the Met's have the easier task ahead of them.  Although at least we miss Zambrano AND Harden, plus they're saying they'll only let Dempster pitch 70 - 80 pitches tonight to keep him ready for the first game of the playoffs.

It indeed became a bummer of a night when the Mets pulled out the win. But I could say how great the night before was with the Cubs coming from behind to win. Unfortunately, that win last night makes it harder for the Phillies. They made it harder for themselves by losing two of three to the Braves this week. After sweeping the season in Atlants, I expected better from them when they arrived home. Now they have three against the Nationals this weekend. They always play tough.

It would seem that the Mets have the easier task. But I assure you that the Marlins will not go quietly. They are a pain. We shall see what the Cubs actually hand you guys to work with.

What I would like to see tonight (provided we get the games in around here) is a Phillies win, a Brewers win and a Mets loss. But I will take the same thing tomorrow too. That way the Phils don't have to try and win the division title on the last day again.
