I saw that. Hopefuly they will be able to keep it together since they had a little bit of a roll going there. Just flipped back to the Chiefs and I see that one of the Broncos players is down. I hope that is nothing bad, but it looks like they are checking for strength in his extremeties.

This looks really bad. They are taking the guy out on a backboard. I didn't see him move his legs or feet the whole time he was laying there. I hope he will be okay. The whole stadium has gone quiet.
It's Clifford Russell. They just showed the replay. He lowered his head and went straight into a 3-man wedge coming straight at him. He did manage to wave a little as they were taking him off the field, so that is a good sign, but they left his helmet on, so they have to be thinking neck or spinal cord injury.

I wrestled at about 215 pounds in college...which at the time was heavy weight...I wrestled a guy that weighed 400 pounds. Long story short, I went for an ankle pick and he came flush down on my neck. I lost feeling in my arms and legs for about 2 minutes. a very long two minutes. After I got up (thankfully) I yelled at the guy..."a salad wouldnt hurt now and then Bubba". It was the temporary paralysis talkin'.
DANG! Nearly twice your weight? My hat is off to you, sir. I'm generally unafraid of anyone, but at that differential I think I would have just laid down and tried to will myself into bleeding.

Aaron Rogers got hurt, and we saw what Matt Flynn the rookie backup brings early in his career...Would have been nice to have number 4 waiting in the wings.
I'm still stunned that the Chiefs actually won and not by a little bit. Score was 33-19. Oh well... I guess it goes to prove the "any given day" theory.

Well, the way both teams have been playing, there was no indication this would happen. I know that anything can happen. That is why they play the game. Oh well, at least 9 out of 10, if not 10 out of 10, got that game wrong on the football pool.

Say what you will, the robo dog is a great pet. He never pukes on my carpet. He doesn't chase the cat. He didn't require neutering, and I've only had to change his batteries twice.

His middle name is Frank. He thought I was trying to be insulting. Had nothing to do with him, I just liked the name... so I just didn't tell him that's the dog's name.
