Congrats on sneaking in to the playoffs Brewers fans. But welcome to Philadelphia, where the guys are on fire lately. Nothing is easy here in Philly, but this year they will get it done. The pitching matchup should be interesting. Sheets says he is done, Sabathia threw a lot of pitches yesterday on short rest (again) and who knows what else you guys have. Hopefully, we won't have to see Sabathia until game 3. By then the Phillies should have a two game lead. Maybe all those games pitched on three days rest will finally reach up and bite him. It seemed like it was enough last year for the Phils to squeek into the playoffs. This year they know better.

Go Phillies!

Well, I was hoping it was going to be a crash course to the National League Championship Series, with the World Series at stake...
Looks like the only crash course The Brew Crew & North Siders are on is the one that leads to the First Tee at a warm golf course, cuz both teams look horrible.

I was pulling for the Cubbies last night Mo!! Ugh, I can't stand Joe Torrie! And now that Manny is there I wanted LA to lose!! Sorry, but there's still a whim of hope!

I think Joe Torre proved one thing...he is a very good manager.  I was hoping the Brewers would have picked him up after the Yanks fired him.  He understands people and how to motivate them.

The Brewers did not finish the season strong.
CC pitched 4 consecutive starts on 3 days rest...asking alot.
The hitting just hasnt been there.
The Brewers havent played well the last month.
But I tip my hat to the Phillies.  They have played well

I agree with Mo. They are both on a crash course to be swept out of the playoffs.

Let's go Phillies!

Bring on LA. I think the Phils can take them. I wouldn't mind the Phillies beating up the Dodgers and moving on to the World Series. It has been a long time since Philadelphia has had a major Championship (baseball, football, hockey, basketball). 25 years to be exact.
