Morning, all! I actually slept in a little. It's WFH Thursday! And my day started out with a smile... shortly after logging into work, I got an IM from my friend James. He's been in Poland for the last 6 weeks helping set up a network control center. He'll be home in another week.

Its a bit chilly this morning, but it supposed to be a fairly decent fall day.

I went to bed with a headache and woke up with a headache. cry

Last night we got hooked up to the apt complex wireless network. The lady warned us that it might not work in the bedrooms. Well that's where I need it to work for the show. But we tested it out in the living room. It sucks for the most part so we will have to go get a router and use Charter instead. My husband couldn't stay connected to play on poker stars. We already pay for Charter so no biggie.

Good day all.

My super good mood has gone. I'm not necessarily in a bad mood, just blah.

Brian's sick again today. He's in a cold sweat and he says he has a headache and his stomach is upset. He doesn't have a fever though. He tends to sweat whenever he's in pain or doesn't feel well, even if he's not hot or feverish, so I'm not too concerned about the cold sweats. I think his sinuses from the bad cold he had are draining into his stomach and making his stomach upset. I gave him a decongestant, an ibuprofen, and a lortadine (I think seasonal allergies may have something to do with it too), and left him with a huge glass of water.

Good Morning, when I got to work this morning my friend that is over in Iraq sent me an e-mail. As soon as I opened it Rick Astleys face was planted all over my screen and he was singing Never gonna give you up. At the top it said You've just been Riiiickkkk Rollllllled!!! It won't close either! Everytime I click close it pops up a box with lyrics directed at me.

All I can say are paybacks!

I slept on my couch last night at my new apartment, since it has cable and my house isn't conneceted anymore. I had to see the game.
Woke up to my cell phone alarm and went to take a shower and the dial on the shower just spun around.
I brought my stuff to work here at the APD and used the ladies locker room to get ready.

First morning in my new apartment and I am calling the landlord already for problems. Hope this isn't a sign.......

Tomorrow is the boy's birthday. He's kind of worried because he don't see a birthday present anywhere.

I see the washer and dryer are gone. Putting them outside must have been the incentive the guy needed to come get them.

I was surprised to find there were still gas shortages in NC when I left on Tuesday. The first three stations I stopped at had no gas, the fourth one was only allowing 10 gallons per car.

Hard to believe the hurricane could affect just a few states that way.
