Im thinkng of getting it added too put some more stuff round it and add a bit of colour shading into it, its not that great a tattoo but it was my first so I didnt realy research into who was doing it and how good they were but its ok for now.

Don't change it Ultimo.  I have a friend who had a really simple tattoo, and then decided he wanted to add something to it later, and now regrets it.  It looked better when it was just simple.

I don't have any. I don't do pain well. I would like some though. I would like a butterfly chain around my wrist. I wouldn't mind a butterfly down by my ankle either, but everybody does these. I told myself that if I got back in shape that then I would get a tattoo. Hasn't happened yet.

i'm not opposed to tattoos, but they are not for me.  and i think only some people can pull it off -- the same with body piercings.  my daughter wants a tatoo, but i won't pay for it.  i didn't pay for any of her piercings either.  i'm intrigued by tattoos as an art form.  some are really awsome.  i've seen some that are really ****ty too.  oklahoma is the last state to legalize tattoos.  i can get one legally on november 1, 2006.  no, i'm one of those people that can't pull it off... i'd just look like another dumb ass with a tattoo...

does that mean it's illegal to give a tatoo to some poor idiot or illegal to get one? or jst to have one in general?

yeah, but there is a loophole.  something like they can't really be considered permanent anymore because they can be removed with surgery.

illegal to give a tattoo and get, but i think the givers get fined not the takers.

I have one tattoo on the inside of my right ankle. It is a tribal heart design.  I decided on that one because it tends to speak to my feelings on love. I'm very protective of my heart.  As to the location, I have several scars on my right leg as a result of the car accident I had several years back. I intended to have this tattoo cover one of them.  The tattoo artist refused to cover the entire scar because he said it would be too painful and he could not guarantee a decent result.  Consequently, it covers approximately a third of it. I decided to try to have that particular scar covered because the others are down the center of my knee and about 4 inches above my ankle on the front of my shin.  Tattoos in either location would just be tacky.

I hope my girls don't get em.

I'm not a big fan of tattoos either.  I'm not opposed to them but there's really not anything that has that much meaning to me that I'd want it on my body FOREVER. 


Mema's is cool, artsy & has meaning.  My daughter has a little butterfly on her back in the shoulder area.  It's tasteful.  But then...there's my sister...


My sister has roses on her chest, thigh & hip.  She's planning the HUGE animal scene for her back.  It's 3 different animals that morph into each other all symbolizing her kids.  Hers...sorry to say...just seem trashy to me.


Nope.  They're not for me.  Besides, I don't want to have to try to explain the meaning of some random tattoo when I'm in a nursing home having my diapers changed.

As the skin ages, they fade and get wrinkly or saggy depending on the location...Just strikes me as comical...
