Gettin' nervous Fuzzy?

BREWERS WIN!!!  clap.gif

I have a good feeling about this!  I get to go to my first ever playoff game tomorrow.  You KNOW they ain't gonna lose on my first playoff game!

Then it's back to Philly with CC seeking redemption!  party.gif

Sorry about your Huskers, Web. I saw part of the game. Looked like they got stomped.

Um, are you sure they didn't lose because you were there? Don't feel bad, for my first playoff game (Game 1 against the Rockies last year) the Phillies lost. I was afraid that would be my first and last playoff game I would get to see in person.

Go Phillies!

PS - By the way, does this mean you can root for the Phils again? Or are you still mad that we beat your Brewers?

I'm not sure yet Fuzz.

I'm mad they beat us.  I don't like that they celebrated on our field cry.gif  Champaigne flowing in the visitors locker room SUCKS.

BUT, if they were to go all the way at least we could say we got beaten by the best.

I'll have to wait until the first game to decide which way I'm rooting.  I really like Joe Torre, but can't stand Manny Ramirez.  So it's a tough call.

The Phillies got some timely hitting in the series. It took a while, but the offense was starting to do a little more. It was still way slow though. I asked Burrell to hit that three run homerun yesterday. And he did. As soon as that happened I figured we were good to go. As for celebrating, we would have done it at home if we could have. And it shouldn't have been a big a celebration as winning the division or winning the NL crown and making it to the World Series.

I think rooting against Manny is the best positive. I have to check and see how Manny did against us this year. Something makes me think they kept him in check when the Dodgers were here in Sept. I don't know about when the Phillies were in LA.
