Here, in full makeup. I guess I got inspired to actually do my makeup from watching a video tip on Total Beauty
The only thing I don't have on yet is any lipstick or gloss. I couldn't see the point when I haven't had breakfast yet.

Well we found out that our water pump IS going. There is a small crack and we also need to replace the belt. The mechanic is gonna be nice and one weekend they are gonna meet over at our work parking lot and do it for cheaper. That way we don't have to pay Tuffy prices. He has known my hubby for awhile now through work. So I think he feels bad because he knows we just paid $300 on this thing already. I'm hoping they will be friends and hang out. We found out that he doesn't live that far from us. Unfortunately neither living place is where you can do maintenance on a car. hmm

Talked to hubby's Mom last night. Got some more bad news. His aunt may need to get 3 toes removed. The doctor is hoping that the medicine he gave her will save 2 though. She already has problems with her feet but she broke out in blisters. He assumed she burnt her feet on a heating pad but she didn't. So there is some other problem going on there.

I think that is all for now. Well until I at least wake up some more.

I worked the golf course yesterday and today I'm back inside at the PD. The fall weather was perfect yesterday and the trees were so vibrant.

The new guy is going to NC this weekend to see his dad's new house, I'm looking to do something?? Anyone have any suggestions?

Omg is it time to go yet?! We are already feuding up here about the a/c being taken out. I had to leave and go into the main office to take a break. I was yelled at because I wouldn't speak up to leave it. Well Jeff had already started the process of taking it out!

The annoying one actually told the guy taking out the a/c that she was more important than the other lady so he should listen to her!

Woo... sorry about the car. I wonder if your aunt in law's blisters are some sort of reaction to medication? That sort of side effect sometimes happens.

Howdy.

I switched the furnace from "Cool" to "Heat" this morning. It was 66 in the house and my roommates were starting to grumble about being chilly.

I think this was a record year, I think we went about 5 days between the AC not running and needing to turn on the heat.

I feel your pain Web. It's supposed to be low 70's here for the next two days then it's supposed to go to a week of being in the mid 50's for a high. That's a big swing.

No, many seasons its just one or two days. We will typically have temps cooling then have a fall hot streak for a few days followed closely by a cooling.

At least this year we did actually have a few "in between" days.

I thought you would say the opposite. I miss the north where the ac could be shut down at night and for many days in the fall before the heat cranks up. Here the ac runs through November! hmm

I'm on like my third week of no need of a/c or heat. Did have to suffer out a couple warm, humid days and the mornings are chilly, but it's all good.

At least for us, AC to keep the house cool is MUCH cheaper than gas to heat in the winter.

In the hottest summer months, our electric bill goes up about $50 due to the A.C.

In the coldest winter months, our gas bill goes up about $250 due to the furnace. This year, gas prices are even higher.

I don't think we've run the ac since the week after labor day, and we haven't turned on the heat yet. We have piled extra blankets on the bed though.

I have the radiators on low in the apartment, but thats mainly so I can have a few cracked open windows to get the fresh cool air circulating through for a bit longer...

Morning all. Almost afternoon at this point. Finally getting in here to say hi and stuff.

We have a big game tonight. Game one. Let's go Phillies!

The weather is beautiful. Supposed to be low 70s all week. It was chilly last week, not getting out of the 60s and the lows were in the 40s. That forced me to close most of the windows. Left the ones in my bedroom open a bit. But closed them the other night as it was supposed to ge down to 38. Brrr. BUt it hasn't been chilly in the house, although other may say it was (ex Web's roommates). Thankfully the air conditioned has been off for quite some time. I think just about all of September (we may have had a few days where I had it on) and a lot of August. We had a rather cool August. Unless it gets real cool quickly and stays there, I can't see me putting the heat on anytime soon.

Ok this is officially a bad, sucky day

We just got a call that one of consumer (one of my favs) passed away. He was for the most part non-verbal but he would occasionally talk to me. If he was in a mood he was a pain to deal with- physically aggressive but he also gave the best hugs. Of course I am wearing mascara today.

He was only 51. I just went into his file to see if there were any pictures. There was one of me and him. I took it- shhhhh There are others in there- they won't miss it

It really is. I now heard that the doctor said it was bowel obstruction and he never recovered. My husband says we hear that as a reason all the time for our guys. He is starting to believe that it is just some lame reason they give us for "retarded people" - that being their thinking/term not ours.
