My mom and dad used to talk about how funny tv was back then; most of the shows were live, not taped like they are now.  They told me props used to fall over, people would forget their lines and ad lib, and sometimes there'd be a lull in the show because everyone forgot what they were supposed to be doing.  They always said tv was funnier back then than it is now.

And how much more innocent it was back then... I can just about guarantee a show today called "Private Secretary" would not be in prime time network TV. weirdface.gif

There are a lot of shows on today in prime time that would never have been allowed on tv back then. 

Sometimes progress isn't always a good thing.

Yeah... probably not. I remember back in the day on the Dick Van Dyke Show that they had separate twin beds because anything else would be a NO NO!
