Anyone heard GEEKS GET THE GIRL anywhere else?

I was perusing Billboard magazine this week when it occured to me that American Hi-Fi's "The Geeks Get The Girls" is not charting anywhere.  It's not on the Hot 100, Pop 100, AC 40, Top 40, Hot Digital Downloads, Sales or Airplay charts.

That got me to thinking, has anyone been hearing this song anywhere else?

It feels like a "hit" to me because it gets played a couple times per day on Freeze-Frame (in most part thanks to Trish's requests), but it would be kind of neat if it's the first song that's kind of our own little hit, a song that for the most part only Freeze-Framers have been enjoying.

You know, in all honesty, I don't listen to any radio stations other than freeze-frame radio except in the car.  I listen to Freeze-Frame radio at work, and at home.  We have a wireless network at home and my wife listens during the day as well.  Even on the weekends we turn it on instead of commercial radio.  So, I have no idea if anyone else is playing that song, because I don't listen to anyone else!

FANTASTIC ANSWER MURSCCLUB!!!

YOU (and your wife) are the type of people that make running this station completely worth it!

Hey, I gotta ask, what does your forum ID stand for?  Everytime I see it I go a little crazier, it's like one of those license plates you can figure out.

I assume it stands for SOMETHING CLUB, but I can't begin to guess what the MURSC is all about.

It stands for Millersville University Rocket Science Club (Club).  I went to Millersville U in Millersville, PA for undergrad.  A group of us got a couple of those really powerful slingshot water balloon launchers, and we used to launch water balloons for fun.  One Saturday was a get-acquainted day there, where perspective students and their parents visited the campus.  We got out the launchers and started launching balloons across the commons area where many of the dorms were, and put up a sign saying we were the Millersville University Rocket Science Club, so that it looked like we were doing scholarly research.  We ended up hitting some mom in the side of the face from about 100 yards away, and got busted.  We ended up getting put on 'probation' and had to pay for the lady's glasses.  Claudia Batz was her name.  I'll never forget that name.  Anyway, it sounds a little "geeky" as I read it back to myself now, but then again I am an admitted computer geek, and it was a lot of fun!

It all makes sense now

I knew it had to mean SOMETHING, because it sure wasn't selected for being easy to remember (well, except to you I'm sure).
