oohh! sorry you got bit by your own dog, jr. but really glad the other two didn't attack you when you intervened.

Yikes!  That thought never crossed my mind!

I was just worried with the way she was biting at them they'd start biting back so I wanted to get her out of there.

If one of those other dogs clamped onto my arm it would be a serious bite.

Again.  Stoooooooopid dog no.gif

Ghost, have you ever had an allergy test done? That's the type of symptoms I was having when my doctor decided to do an allergy test.

Speaking of being bitten, Brian got bit by one of our turtles last weekend. He was cleaning the tank, and the turtle kept getting in his way, so he kept pushing him out of the way. The last time the turtle was tired of being pushed out of the way, and bit him. After I was done laughing, I asked if he was okay, and he was fine.

rofl.gif Thanks for asking, D. I went to boot camp tonite and our beloved drill sargeant apparently hasn't run out of body parts to torture yet. Tonight we worked biceps, shoulders and back. I don't feel too bad...yet...give me 48 hours for the shock to wear off and the real pain to set in!

So what have you been up to?

I am enjoying it, despite the pain afterward. I like challenging myself to do the workout and I feel like I'm doing myself some good. There's been a shortage of Teddy Grahams though, but I'll keep an eye out for leftovers for you. nod.gif

Lyrics, huh? What are you writing about?

There is something to be said for pushing ourselves past what we thought were limits.

Thats what I loved about sports.

Yeah, but because of crummy knees I was limited in what sports I could play in more recent years. My favorite sport to compete in was swimming - that was always a rush! And my favorite spectator sport is still boxing. It's great to watch on Telemundo!

I am coming to the realization of what knee problems can mean.

Swimming is a great workout.  Might be doing more of it for endurance now.

You dont see boxing much anymore...Seems like since there arent any great heavyweight match ups, the sport has dwindled.

Although middle weights like, Hearns-Leornard did alot for boxing.

Meh, the problem with boxing is that so much of it is Pay-Per-View now and too expensive to go see a good match in person. But I still find it entertaining, and ESPN runs classic mathces from time to time, too.

Swimming is great - I've always loved it! It's greta for endurance, and if you use kickboards and pull buoys you can get some great focused muscle toning without risk of injury. I'd like to do that myself but there aren't any public pools convenient here and a gym membership is a bit too pricey to commit to right now. Where do you swim?

It's time for me to crash, so I wish you a good night. TTYL!

Sleep well. smile

It was a hoot!  "He bit me!"  "Well, you pissed him off!"  Turtles have much more personality than you realize.

No kidding! They can have attitude when the situation calls for it! My brother in law has a turtle named Stoli, and Stoli absolutely does NOT tolerate being bullied! laughing.gif I'm sure Brian will think twice about how he handles the turtle next time! wink
