So glad to not have to get up for work today! I am logged in from my laptop. I finally got the wireless to work. It seems to be pretty good even from the bedroom faced away from the router. Music is streaming good too smile

Hubby went to work on the car. I need to finish off a anniversary card for him while he is gone.

Doin' my normal Saturday morning server routine. Moving backup files now.

We have a Husker game at 11:30 then after that, I'm gonna go to the shop and work a while. If I go spend about an hour today, it will gain me a whole day next week.

Good day all.

I have tax class on Saturday mornings now until after Thanksgiving. This morning it wasn't too bad, so I think it'll be okay.

Then I washed the car at one of those do it yourself car washes. It was pretty dirty, but most of all, the inside window was all smudged. Now I have a shiny clean car.

Today I'm still going to go grocery shopping, do a bit of cleaning, and put up Halloween decorations. I think I'll wait until next weekend to carve pumpkins though. Depending on how much I spend at the grocery store, I might go ahead and buy them now.

I forgot all about the morning thread.

Good morning one and all!

I got up early today and tried a new recipe for me & my sister (gotta keep her happy so she don't throw me out on my butt).

Cream Cheese stuffed French Toast with a four berry sauce. They were DELICIOUS! I got the recipe from Alton Brown on the Food Network (part of it anyway). I love his show GOOD EATS. Besides giving you a recipe he gives a lot of background information on things.

He said REAL french toast should be made in an oven, not on a skillet. It's supposed to give you a crunchier outside and a softer inside. He was right nod.gif

Today I've got to do some running around. Including picking up a birthday cake for my grandmother who's birthday party is tonight. clap.gif I think she's gonna be 83. She still looks like she's in her 60's though.

evening all. No game again today, second weekend it rained. Got my oil changed, got some new running shoes and more winter clothes for E, went to the library and stopped to get some groceries. Just surfing the net now...
