Anything from Long John Silver's.  There's a Long John/Taco Bell (aka The Silver Bell) in Milwaukee that I'll drive out of my way for.

Yum.

I'm happy right now because McDonalds has their Shamrock Shakes out for St. PAtrick's day.  I love them!

Yeah the one on Greenfield.  I used to live 5 minutes away from there in West Allis ("stallis all the way!!)

That was my lunch every Friday after work.

Haven't gotten anything from the Taco Bell side yet, but I'll keep your comments in mind.

Man...you're going to LJS.  I'm jealous!

We have a Panda Express right by us.  I love the Orange Chicken extra spicy.  I could eat that all day everyday.

Don't worry Somechick, I'm enjoying a hush puppy & a peice of shrimp on your behalf

I'm not even 5 minutes from the LJS.  I was so excited when they started building it, I was driving by it atleast once a week for three months waiting for the day it would be open.

When I was a kid I loved fish, but my folks didn't care for it, so only one time in my whole life did I get to go to Arthur Treachers.  By the time I had a job and was driving they had all closed down.

Up until LJS we didn't have ANY fast food fish joints in town.  Unbeleivable!

That always struck me as odd that all of the LJSs went out of business, given the huge Friday fish fry thing around Milwaukee.

We used to drive to Kenosha or Oshkosh when I was younger so we could get hushpuppies and the crumblies they serve with every order.

There used to be the ultimate restaurant in Verona- an LJS/A&W.  Fresh tapped Root beer and hushpuppies.  I was in heaven.  They closed it down a few months ago.  It was a sad day.

And I hear you about driving past the restaurant when they were constructing it.  Near the end, it'd be an everyday drive.  Then one day I called there to see when it was opening, and I caught them on opening day. Waiting 20 minutes in the drive through, but it was worth it.

McDonald's chicken Mcnuggets with bbq and sweet & sour sauce. I have to double dip in each one.

Have they actually made those things edible now?

I stopped buying them years ago because I was sick of the poor quality of chicken.  I used to call it the snapping chicken, because out of every 3 or 4 there would always be one with a big fatty strain in it that when you bit into it would snap the chicken back at you

I know a year or two ago they started a big campaign that it was "better chicken" now, but I never trusted them enough to try it.

I was in McDonalds at the weekend and my girlfreidns nicece was eating nuggets, she didnt want them all so I tried one, I eat quite a lot of chicken and I have to say that nugget was the blandest chicken I have ever tasted, If it had any chicken in it at all, that is!

That was the first and last time I eat there chicken.

I never thought about that.... maybe thats why I have to double dip them! Ok maybe I just like the BBQ and the sweet and sour sauce. Da*#@! now I have to have chicken nuggets for lunch to make sure.

I am with ultimo on that one- every once in  awhile I'll get a craving for qp with cheese.

A few years back, mcdonalds had this winter deal on qps- they cost whatever the temperature was. If it was 8 degrees outside, you paid 8 cents for your second qp. If it was zero or less, your second one was free. I think they stopped doing that because here in wisconsin, they were losing their butts big time!
