Oh, our high school football team won their first round game of class C1 playoffs 61-0. One of our best players is out on injury from an incident in practice too.

There are still a few really tough teams to play yet on the road to state.

Huskers play Oklahoma on ESPN tomorrow night at 7:00pm.

We should lose that game, but we've played the last couple games pretty well so there's a glimmer of hope.

2. Mz - we have flippers so I don't think any of us can do that. But just in case, we should all have those multiple unaccomplished goals thing going on.

And lots of adult beverages too... lets not forget we would be wearing penguin suits with bowling shoes at that point. I'd have to be HAMMERED to agree to putting on rented footwear anyway.

Yeah, I couldn't become a paying member due to financial reasons, but they've improved a lot the last six months so I told JR I'd be sending him a check.  He said I didn't have to since I can't listen in during the day while at work, but I feel like a slacker and want to do my fair share to help out the station. smile

I really miss seeing the little kids in costumes!  I bought some candy and turned on my porch light, but just as I thought, no kids came to the door.  That stupid boulevard behind me is always the big draw.  Maybe next year I should buy some candy, take a chair, and go sit on one of the street corners over there passing out candy.
